Getting a brew day in before we convert the space (hopefully) for big game processing this fall! I brewed an Amber and a Pale Ale last Saturday. The Pale Ale is hopped with Galaxy, Citra, and Nelson and half of it will be oaked. It was a pretty uneventful brew day but I did realize that my new coil chiller is going to have to go and I'll move back to the plate chiller. I'm wasting way too much water and it is just really inefficient. I'll make some redesigns to the brewery that will allow me to recirculate and filter out trub and hops before I put it through the plate chiller. Any one have experience with a setup like that? Enjoy the brew day below!
